Production Control Assistant

Job Description:

Reporting to the Production Control Supervisor, the Production Control Assistant will properly receive hardware in MPCS system and lot incoming hardware as prioritized by Production.

Job Responsibilities:

Lot hardware in the most efficient manner possible ensuring there is no metal to metal contact, confirming serial numbers match, and checking for any handling damage; Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required; Adhere to all safety and quality standards.


  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent- documentation required
  • Must met ITAR definition of US Person(s)- documentation required
  • Must be organized and possess time management skills
  • Must be able to adapt to priority changes
  • Ability to communicate information to others verbally and in writing in English
  • Must be able to following verbal and written instructions in English
  • Ability to multitask and perform with minimal supervision
  • Ability to process and communicate information using Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Outlook email)
  • Must have basic addition and subtraction skills involving whole numbers, decimals, and fractions
  • Must be able to transpose, compare, and manipulate numbers
  • Strong spatial ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must maintain excellent attendance record
  • Must be able to work all required hours, which may include weekends
  • Must be able to work in a supportive team environment that is fast-paced with strong commitment to accountability

  • Ability to function effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to obtain tow motor license post-placement

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-3 years in a manufacturing and/or production control environment
  • MPCS knowledge
  • Tow motor license

Physical Demands/ Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, move throughout the facility, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate. Total amount of walking per day will average approximately 1-2 miles. Use of computer (typical 2-button scroll mouse and keyboard) 90% of the work day. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.  Must be able to use required personal protective equipment.
